Qualification

Our intercultural graduate programmes are unique in the way that they foster a multi- and interdisciplinary approach to culture, combine theory with practice and can be attended whilst being fully employed (on site teaching in Salzburg/ Austria: Friday late afternoon and Saturday all day). All graduate programmes are offered in English. The InterCultural Center (ICC) proudly offers academic programs in collaboration with our U.S.-American partner university. Jointly we award Master and Ph.D. degrees and provide Faculty and Student Research opportunities.

Master Programmes

The InterCultural Center (ICC) at Salzburg College (SC) offers a superior academic and cultural experience for graduate students.

Study trips to leading European universities form an integral part of all the programmes. A variety of local field trips, excursions and fireside talks as well as intensive German and/or English language instruction enrich the overall experience.

The following Master programs are being developed:

  • MA in Interdisciplinary Studies: Intercultural Leadership
  • MS Communication Sciences and Disorders

Endowed International Chair in Communication and Culture: Prof. Dr. Birgit Breninger

Ph.D. Programme in Leadership and Policy

Transformative leaders are needed globally – in particular, individuals whose passion for educational quality and equity is matched by their ethical and social responsibility. In our programme we translate visions into real-world success stories.

Graduates of our three-year, interdisciplinary doctorate programme are uniquely prepared for international leadership positions in various educational and communication fields.
